Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Cardiovascular Medical Surgical Telemetry at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time night/evening shift offers a 40-hour week and rotating weekends.

Requires IL RN licensure, Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred), BLS/CPR, and a minimum of 3 years' clinical experience with leadership potential. Competitive hourly pay range and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput.
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary.
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s).
• Guide and direct a team of care‑givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge.
• Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
• Takes lead on clinical performance management.

Hourly Pay Range: $43.69 - $67.72 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
