Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform assays, adhere to SOPs, and report results via LIS. The role emphasizes quality control, documentation, and safe handling of specimens in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will support pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing processes, maintain equipment, monitor TAT, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A healthcare-focused team offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or equivalent education and training.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to complex assays per SOPs.
• Reads and adheres to SOPs, policies, and protocols.
• Performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing accurately.
• Reports results via LIS.
• Prepares and assesses clinical specimens for testing.
• Maintains quality control measures (e.g., temperature monitoring, instrument maintenance, reagent/specimen preparation).
• Documents QC activities and corrective actions.
• Assists supervisor in efficient workflow and monitors turnaround time.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and lab procedures.

Education
