This on-site role requires attention to accuracy, privacy under HIPAA, and a collaborative approach with nursing staff. You will maintain proper drug storage, respond to call lights, and assist with basic resident care as directed.

Qualifications

• Prepares and administers prescribed medications.
• Records medication administration and ensures accurate documentation.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of medications and workspace.
• Keeps medication cart locked when unattended.
• Counts medications with the charge nurse at shift change.
• Reports needs and conditions to the charge nurse as applicable.
