Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Providers, staff and patients in a fast-paced clinic. Responsibilities include patient intake, vitals, specimen handling, and assisting physicians during procedures.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and completion of a Medical Assistant or CNA program (or one year of related experience). Strong communication and accuracy are essential, with reliable teamwork and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

Must have at least a high school education.
Must have successfully completed a Medical Assistant program or successfully completed a Certified Nursing Assistant program or one year of equivalent experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Call patients from waiting room and verify patient information before escorting to the exam room.
Conduct vitals and assist with specimen handling and labeling.
Assist Physicians with procedures and patient education.
Explain procedures to patients and coordinate next steps.
Stock rooms, inventory and maintain OSHA cleanliness and safety standards.
