Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with certificate or 1–3 years experience as MA/EMT/CNA.
• Ability to perform vital signs, phlebotomy, ECG, and specimen collection.
• Knowledge of infection control and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
• Performs vital signs, height, weight, and related screening procedures; documents findings.
• Collects specimens and assists with proper labeling, requisitions, and routing per protocol.
• Maintains equipment and supply logs, and ensures room cleanliness and readiness.
• Performs and documents lab controls/calibrations and assists with procedures as needed.
