Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED certificate.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum of six months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and limited physiology/disease process.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures performed in outpatient setting.

Aufgaben

• Follows all Primary Care Medical Home (PCMH) policies and procedures.
• Escorts patients to examination rooms and prepares patients for examination.
• Performs CLIA waived testing, quality controls, and specimen collection.
• Completes clinical tasks to promote an efficient workflow.
• Follows and implements Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Safely prepares and administers injections and medications.
• Reports to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared; locations may change at supervisor's discretion.
• Engages in training, consultations and supervision; adheres to Corporate Compliance Program.
