Job summary

Tufts Medical Center Community Care - Winthrop is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in the outpatient setting. You will prepare exam rooms, escort patients, take vitals, document information, and assist with procedures while ensuring patient comfort and smooth flow of visits.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, MA certification, BLS, and 0–2 years of MA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification/attestation required.
• BLS certification (or obtainable within 3 months).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient rooms and escort patients to rooms.
• Take vitals and document patient information.
• Assist physicians with procedures and educate patients on specimen collection.
• Perform administrative duties in support of clinical operations.
• Maintain patient flow and participate in revenue cycle processes.
