Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a compassionate patient care role to support healthcare teams with vital signs, medical history collection, and patient flow management. The position involves direct patient interaction and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to ensure smooth care delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, recording information in EHR, and performing routine office tasks, while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred; Massachusetts EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for healthcare providers.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties, including answering phones, taking dictation, and completing insurance forms.
• Act as liaison with other departments and advocate for patients with a positive customer service approach.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens and prepare for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms, keep them neat, stocked, and sterilize instruments.
• Comply with privacy rules and regulations.
