Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years of MA experience or medical field work.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/privacy rules and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• BLS certification and CMA/National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, interview and assist, collect vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support specimen collection and lab processes.
• Assist with office duties and patient communications; coordinate with departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide excellent patient service.
