Job summary

Millennium Physician Group in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to provide clinical and administrative support in outpatient and hospital settings, ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and compassionate care under provider supervision.

You will perform vital signs, EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and EHR documentation, schedule tests and referrals, maintain infection control, and assist with care coordination while upholding

Qualifications

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient intakes, including vital signs and histories.
• Assists providers during examinations, minor procedures, wound care and testing.
• Performs EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per policy.
• Prepares, labels, and processes laboratory samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintains infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration.
• Supports providers with triage, care coordination, and transitions.
