Job summary

Millennium Physician Group, LLC seeks a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to provide high-quality clinical and administrative support across outpatient and hospital settings. The role ensures efficient patient flow, accurate documentation in the EHR, and compassionate care under provider supervision.

The CMA/RMA will perform vital signs, assist during exams, collect specimens, administer injections, and coordinate tests, referrals, and prior authorizations with strict HIPAA

Qualifications

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Certification or Registration.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
• All certifications must be kept current.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient intakes with vital signs and medical histories.
• Assists providers during examinations, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing.
• Performs EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepares, labels, and processes laboratory samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintains infection control and safety protocols across clinical areas.
• Verifies insurance coverage and assists with prior authorizations, billing, and coding.
