Job summary

You will perform vital signs, assist in exams, run EKGs and immunizations, collect specimens, document in the EHR, coordinate referrals, and help with scheduling, billing support, and compliance with HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CMA/RMA credential where applicable.
• Clinical and administrative support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes including vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, wound care and testing.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per policy.
• Prepare, label, and process laboratory samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibration.
• Support patient triage, care coordination, and transitions across settings.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Document data in the EHR accurately and promptly.
• Schedule and track appointments, referrals, and test results.
• Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and billing as needed.
• Monitor inventory and prepare exam rooms with supplies.
