Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient examinations and care under physician direction. The role also covers administrative tasks to help manage patient flow and documentation.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish), possess strong patient service skills, and be able to coordinate with clinicians to prepare charts, schedule visits, and assist with immunizations when required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1 year of medical assistant experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, routes calls, takes and relays messages.
• Prepares and administers medications to patients as directed by provider.
• Immunizations: prepares and administers vaccines as directed by provider.
• Communicates changes in patient conditions to clinicians and physicians.
• Ensures documentation for medical appointments is complete and accurate.
