Job summary

Humana Inc. and Conviva Senior Primary Care seek a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care. You will support administrative and clinical duties, including taking vitals, administering vaccines, drawing blood, and documenting in the EMR.

You will work with a team in a fast-paced primary care setting, adhering to TB screening, CPR, and safety protocols, with focus on patient experience and care quality.

Qualifications

• Completion of MA school/training program or CMA/RMA with approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• TB screening requirement for patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, discuss symptoms, obtain vitals, administer medications and vaccines where permitted, perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and accurately document patient information in the EMR.
