Atrium Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced setting in the Greater Charlotte area. The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and assisting with procedures as ordered by clinicians.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, lab specimen handling, and POCT testing per standing orders, while strictly following CLIA and safety guidelines.

Competenze

• Must have two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Possess current certification/licensure where required by division.
• Demonstrates ability to follow policies and patient-care procedures.

Mansioni

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and testing as ordered.
• Conduct lab duties: venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT per orders.
• Administer medications and vaccines following rights of administration.
• Handle patient messaging, scheduling, referrals as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and equipment.
• Mentor teammates and participate in committees as needed.
