Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming and vital signs, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and performs lab duties, including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines following the rights of administration.
• Maintains a clean work environment and ensures equipment and supplies are stocked.
• Demonstrates effective communication and teamwork; may assist training new teammates.
