Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vitals (blood pressure, height, weight).
• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in medical records and coordinate with staff.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with other departments.
• Collect blood or other specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms, maintain cleanliness, and stock supplies.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated materials.
