Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience OR current Medical Assistant certification.
• If you have 1 year of medical work experience without MA certification, you must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• New graduates will obtain a clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and sterilization.
• Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer telephone calls and screen for referrals.
