Job summary

Specialty Center of Mid-Atlantic and Advanced Surgery Center of Bethesda seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day OR operations and drive process improvements that enhance patient experience and safety.

The role collaborates with the Administrator on fiscal accountability, policy development, staff performance evaluation, credentialing, and risk management to support high-quality outcomes in an ambulatory surgery setting.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license REQUIRED
• Proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center is ideal
• Operating room RN experience required
• PACU experience preferred
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management
• Solid understanding of budgeting, resourcing, and performance evaluation procedures

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience.
• The Clinical Manager will report to the Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance.
• The Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
