Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for an LPN with LICENSed Practical Nursing credentials in South Carolina. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will provide patient-centered care, assist with data collection and care planning, and participate in evaluating nursing actions.

Flexible duties include telephone and in-person screenings and maintaining clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN in SC or a compact state.
• One year of LPN experience preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care under RN supervision, assisting with data collection, care plans, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Performs screening, documents health status in the medical record, and supports medication-related communications with providers.
• Maintains exam rooms and supplies and ensures accurate, policy-compliant documentation.
