Job summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse for the Personal Care Unit. You will deliver competent nursing care, supervise CNAs, and document patient progress, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to standards.
The role requires a valid LPN license in SC and CPR certification. You will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing, participate in patient-centered teamwork, and contribute to the unit’s mission of quality care across
Qualifications
- Must have attended an accredited LPN program.
- Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the state.
- One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification required upon hire and must remain current.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients on the nursing care unit.
- Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs.
- Chart appropriately and timely.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Assist in the evacuation of patients.
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
