MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient/family centered care under RN supervision in Lugoff, SC. The LPN participates in data collection, care planning, and evaluation of outcomes within their span of control.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, preparation for examinations and procedures, and accurate documentation in the medical record in line with MUSC policies. A valid SC LPN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient/family centered care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Assists with data collection, care plans, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Documents patient care accurately in the medical record and prepares patients for examinations and procedures.

Education
