Job summary

The ideal candidate has an allied health license (RN/PT/OT/SLP/LCSW) and marketing experience, with strong communication skills and a collaborative work style. Hybrid schedule with PRN availability.

Qualifications

• Indiana license as applicable must be current.

Responsibilities

• Builds and expands relationships with referral sources and patients in acute care hospitals.
• Calls upon hospital personnel, physicians and other referral sources to broaden the network of referrals.
• Educates referral sources on Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana services and capabilities.
• Assists in meeting marketing goals and admissions targets monthly.
• Coordinates sales activities with the marketing team and supervisor.

Clinical Liaison - PRN

Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) | Inpatient Rehabilitation | Hybrid

About the role

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for growth and development of his/her assigned territory for inpatient admissions. The incumbent is responsible for marketing calls to appropriate referral sources in assigned territory and the ongoing assessment and recruitment of inpatient rehabilitation for appropriate patients. Understands the role of employee's individual position regarding HIPAA requirements and level of access to Protected Health Information as defined in HIPAA hospital-wide policies.

What you'll do

• Builds and expands relationships with current and potential referral sources and patients in acute care hospitals to educate and develop understanding of Rehabilitation services.
• Calls upon hospital/ personnel, physicians and other potential referral sources to develop and manage relationships within designated territory to broaden the number of referral sources within a given hospital.
• Develops relationships, provides excellent customer service and educates referral sources on services provided by the hospital.
• Accountable for marketing goals and admissions on monthly basis.
• Coordinates and completes direct sales/business development appointments and marketing activities in cooperation with the marketing team and supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of Associate's Degree with Bachelor's (or Master's preferred).
• RN, PT, OT, SLP, or LCSW license required.
• Additional experience, education or training in marketing required.
• Current Indiana license as applicable.
• Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills - written and oral; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Marketing skills: ability to close sales, present accurate, target-specific information and a working knowledge of rehab concepts and multidisciplinary team approach; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to determine medical appropriateness for rehab, rehabilitation potential, and tolerance of therapy of specified aged adults.

Preferred

• Bilingual capability (Spanish/English)
• Two years sales/marketing experience or equivalent experience in healthcare in a collegial role with referring physicians
• Two years allied health professional, RN preferred, or would consider LPN with 10 years or more experience.
• Previous Clinical Liaison experience.
• Experience in the field of physical rehabilitation and trauma.
