Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Liaison to educate communities about acute rehabilitation, develop census, and build referral networks in the Portsmouth region.

The role emphasizes face-to-face outreach, collaboration with clinicians, and ongoing education of stakeholders about available programs and services. Per diem shift with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as required by applicable state licensure regulations as RN, LPN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, RRT, or MSW.
• Minimum 2-year degree required. Bachelor's degree in a health-related, business, or marketing field preferred.
• Previous experience in clinical liaison, marketing, or healthcare sales preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with physicians, nursing staff, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the strategic goals of the rehabilitation program.
• Build relationships with referral sources within the assigned territory through in-person outreach.
• Identify and address barriers to the admission process in collaboration with the program director.
• Maintain face-to-face contact with patients, families, and referral sources in the market territory.
• Conduct in-person in-services and presentations to educate stakeholders on available programs and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
