Select Specialty Hospital seeks a Clinical Liaison (RN / RRT) to advocate for patients in the pre-admission process and work with clinical teams to assess needs. This role is critical in ensuring patients receive appropriate care after ICU or surgical stays.

The successful candidate will have a Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, and will work from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The position offers a competitive salary between $70,000 and $100,000, along with uncapped monthly bonuses for performance.

Clinical Liaison (RN / RRT)

Place: Select Specialty Hospital, Critical Illness Recovery Hospital (LTACH)

Annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 depending on relevant work experience, plus uncapped monthly bonuses.

A day in the life

You’ll advocate for referred patients in the pre‑admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs. You will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals through fostering relationships within medical facilities. With clinical expertise and problem‑solving skills, you’ll also coordinate care plans with physicians and families. Additionally, you will facilitate patient transfers and address barriers to accessing specialized post‑ICU care.

Key Responsibilities

• You will work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients’ families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post‑surgical stay.
• Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel with patients’ families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
• Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre‑admission and transfer process through removing payer‑related and operational barriers for patients getting into our highly effective level of care.

Required Skills
