Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL seeks a Clinical Leader (RN) for the PCU to oversee nursing care, patient experience and quality initiatives. You will supervise staff, coordinate multi-disciplinary care and lead unit education with emphasis on evidence-based protocols.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BSN within 3 years, BLS, and 3+ years in a relevant specialty with supervisory experience. ACLS/NRP/PALS/CPI are expected at start date across units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• BSN within 3 years of hire date.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Current BLS at time of hire.
• Three years of experience in specialty.
• One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
• Certifications required at start date: ACLS, NRP (Women’s Center), NIH, PALS, CPI.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate clinical activities, operations, quality and safety of patient care and patient experience.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance; support staff development and retention.
• Lead provision of optimal patient experience with evidence-based protocols and safety measures.
• Direct unit education including orientation, ongoing training and EMR education; participate in hospital-wide education.
• Assist with accreditation/certification data collection and processes.
• Reinforce Patient Centered Care concepts and Service Excellence at all times.
• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
