Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is seeking a Clinical Leader (RN) for Medical Cardiac to supervise nursing staff and coordinate clinical activities, quality and patient safety. The role emphasizes evidence-based care, patient experience, and unit-wide education to maintain high standards.

You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and support performance improvement initiatives in a collaborative environment within our acute-care hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BSN within 3 years of hire date required.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate clinical activities, operations, quality and safety of patient care and patient experience.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance and promote staff development and retention.
• Lead unit-based education including orientation, ongoing education and EMR training; participate in hospital-wide education.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve safe, optimal health care outcomes.
• Reinforce Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence in all nursing activities.
• Perform nurse leader rounding to verify care quality and safety.
