Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the PCU. This part-time day-shift role works under the supervision of the RN to support patient care and the patient experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, basic clerical tasks, and ensuring service excellence. CNA certification and current BLS are required; CPI within 6 months for ER.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary/ Nursing Assistant, Medic or EMT/Paramedic, preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.
• CNA Certification required.
• Demonstrated track record for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• For Emergency Room, CPI required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides everyday patient care.
• Assumes responsibility for facilitating and enhancing the delivery of patient care and the patient experience under the direction of the RN.
• Other duties as assigned.
