Qualifications

• Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience: minimum 6 months as Clinical Nurse; 2 years as Charge Nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the health care team with emphasis on patient care coordination and throughput; discharge planning.
• Participates in daily rounds; acts as charge nurse and operational leader for patient flow.
• Ensures patient and caregiver understanding of care plans and discharge timing.
