Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide leadership on a Cardiac Medical-Surgical unit. You will coordinate patient care, guide throughput, and serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff while supporting discharge planning.

The role requires an active Georgia RN license, BSN preferred, and a track record of clinical leadership with at least 6 months in a clinical nurse role; 2 years is preferred with charge nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with GA State Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Nurse; 2 years preferred and 6 months as Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the health care team with emphasis on coordinating patient care and throughput, serves as clinical resource and role model, plans safe discharge and ensures care plan progress.
• Participates in staff performance evaluations and facilitates orientation, education, and competency checks in the department.
