Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in a Charge Nurse role to lead patient care teams in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will coordinate patient care, participate in daily rounds, and support discharge planning with families and the care team.

The position requires an active GA RN license, BSN preferred, and 6 months of clinical nursing experience (2 years plus 6 months as Charge Nurse preferred).

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Nurse; 2 years preferred and 6 months of experience functioning as a Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the health care team with an emphasis on patient care coordination and throughput.
• Serves as charge nurse and operational leader for patient flow when not in an administrative role; ensures discharge planning and communication with families and care teams.
