Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA seeks a Clinical Nursing Coordinator to provide clinical oversight and guide workflows for assigned personnel. You will support quality improvement activities, assist in care delivery, and ensure safe, therapeutic patient care within the office.

The role involves training staff, monitoring Point of Care testing and coagulation tracking, and coordinating with the Practice Manager to maintain efficient clinical operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree Medical Assisting preferred.
• Diploma Program Medical Assisting preferred.
• 2 years Medical Assistant experience required or completion of MA program.
• Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Complete required education programs and competency testing.
• Medical terminology required and Preceptor training completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs the duties of a Medical Assistant.
• Ensures documentation of quality control inspections including temperature readings and equipment checks.
• Assists in referrals and manages clinical supply ordering/receiving.
• Acts as a clinical resource and provides high level customer service.
• Ensures competency training on point-of-care testing and equipment monitoring.
• Monitors point-of-care quality controls and workflow efficiency.
• Communicates clinical concerns to leadership and assists with staff training.
• Oversees coordination of care for Coumadin patients and VFC program duties as applicable.
