Job summary

BHR seeks a JCRD Clinical Lead to provide direct community-based leadership to JCRU Clinicians in St. Louis, MO.

The role includes weekend coverage and a rotating on-call schedule, with coaching and training responsibilities. Leads also serve as a CRU clinician when call-ins occur, partnering with SLMP for direct community response while ensuring compliance with 911 Diversion standards and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides protocol support, live call assistance, and case consultation to JCRU clinicians in the community, including weekend coverage.
• Participates in a rotating on-call schedule, providing consultation and guidance to clinicians as needed.
• Fills in as CRU clinician during call-ins, riding with SLMP to provide direct community response.
• Demonstrates strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, crisis management, and timely documentation.
• Ensures all new Clinical Service Team employees receive appropriate training and can demonstrate required skills.
• Provides and documents performance feedback through coaching, reviews, goal setting, and deficiency management.
• Conducts JCRU check-ins via Teams at the start of each shift.
• Engages in ongoing professional development through supervision, trainings, and events.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Exhibits flexibility with work hours, including weekend coverage, with notice for off-day trainings.
• Maintains strong time management and meets attendance and punctuality standards.
• Performs other duties within the scope of expertise as assigned.
