Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a laboratory professional to perform CLIA regulated testing and support reagent preparation and equipment maintenance. You will interact with customers to resolve concerns about sample acceptability and results, and help train junior staff.

The role includes higher-level interpretation of results, participation in testing panels, and adherence to regulatory requirements. A related degree and 1–3 years of lab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or related field, required.
• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, required.
• 1–3 years of pertinent laboratory experience or training, required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA regulated and clinical contract research testing.
• Support preparation of reagents and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Provide high level customer service to resolve sample acceptability and results inquiries.
• Train junior and peer staff; perform higher level interpretation of testing results.
