Qualifications

• MS in Clinical Chemistry or related science with at least 3 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
• BS in Medical Technology with at least 6 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology with at least 7 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
• AAS with 90 credits and at least 7 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience.
• New York State License to Practice in the Clinical Laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and procedures; document calibration data and reagent lots.
• Train technologists and technicians on new procedures/instruments and assess competency.
• Monitor QC trends and order reagents/supplies as needed.
