Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, and reporting. You will maintain proficiency testing records, analyze samples per SOPs, and review results with strict adherence to CLIA/HIPAA/OSHA guidelines.

The role requires QC/QA knowledge, experience in highly complex testing, and teamwork across departments. A BS in Medical Technology or related field is preferred, with licensure as MT/MLT and US education details provided if

Qualifications

Solid understanding of basic laboratory testing.
Good computer skills; able to work in multiple computer systems.
Knowledge of QC and QA; understanding all areas of the laboratory.

Responsibilities

Follow procedures for specimen handling, processing, and reporting.
Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples tested like patient specimens.
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and SOPs.
Review and release test results; adhere to safety guidelines.
Document quality control activities and instrument calibrations.
Identify and report problems affecting test performance or reporting.
