Job summary

Pipeline Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform moderately complex and complex tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank and serology. The role emphasizes CLIA-defined testing, quality control, and accurate reporting under the supervision of the laboratory leadership.

The candidate should have a strong foundation in laboratory science, adhere to HIPAA and AIDET communication standards, and contribute to departmental operations and patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in an accredited hospital laboratory in at least two sections.
• Ability to learn, synthesize information, and place patients first.
• Capable of working independently and collaborating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Follow hospital policies and procedures and document their review.
• Ensure quality controls are acceptable before releasing patient results.
• Perform maintenance, temperature checks, specimen handling, troubleshooting, and shift handoffs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and reagents.
• Participate in in-service and competency assessment programs.
• Train and orient new team members.
