Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a clinical laboratory professional to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources, ensuring high-quality patient care. You will manage specimen handling, identification, accessioning, and quality control while maintaining compliance with reporting protocols in a clinical setting.

The role includes instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, staff training, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required).
• Certification or experience in medical laboratory science or technology (preferred).
• Ability to perform initial and ongoing competency exams.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure quality patient care.
• Manage specimen handling, confirm identification, and use accessioning procedures.
• Recognize discrepancies and perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting and quality control.
• Attend to training of new staff and participate in ongoing educational activities.
