Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (AHMC) to perform diverse clinical tests, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strict quality and safety standards. The role includes supervising trainees and ensuring specimen integrity through all testing phases.

The candidate must hold a valid CLS license in California and may benefit from ASCP or NCA certification. Prior clinical laboratory experience is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Clinical laboratory experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Employs positive patient identification procedures to ensure specimen integrity for pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical testing.
• Performs and reports laboratory testing accurately and within established turnaround times.
• Reviews, evaluates and verifies test results for accuracy prior to release, and reports critical values promptly.
• Performs and documents quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Maintains compliance with laboratory safety, regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent
