Qualifications

• California CL Laboratory Scientist license or California Specialty (Limited) license required.
• 1 year of prior CLS training or experience in specialized/complex analyses and QC.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and calibration/maintenance practices.
• Experience with quality assurance and inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of manual, semi-automated and automated analyses across Biochemical, Hematological, Microbiological and Blood Bank areas with high accuracy.
• Identify normal, abnormal and critical results and act per lab policy.
• Communicate results and manage data entry and reporting.
• Maintain turnaround time and document QA/QC activities.
• Assist in training personnel and collaborating with clinical staff.
• Ensure safety and infection control guidelines are followed.
