Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia laboratory is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform high complexity testing, lead quality control, and ensure accurate reporting of patient results. The role supports the safe, efficient laboratory environment and adherence to policy while training staff and maintaining competency across shifts.

The position is full-time with day hours (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) in Arcadia, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.
• Valid State of California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Microbiology experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prioritize routine testing duties.
• Identify and solve technical problems during testing.
• Ensure quality control procedures and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Assist in training and orienting new employees and students.
• Maintain records and approve corrective actions when test systems deviate.
