Job summary

Capital Health System, Inc. seeks an experienced laboratory professional to support the designated laboratory section. You will assist the Section Head with testing operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate results and efficient workflows.

The role emphasizes instrument troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration with supervisors and staff to uphold high standards in a hospital clinical chemistry and hematology setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory sciences or a science-related field, CLS preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent CLS certification.
• Five years of clinical laboratory experience with instrument troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Experience with instrument interfaces and laboratory data handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily QC review and establish QC ranges for new reagent lots.
• Lead in CAP inspection coordination and staff communication.
• Review surveys, investigate recalls, and support instrument performance.
• Assist in building new laboratory tests in LIS and perform auto-verification validation.
• Provide education to staff and participate in special projects and meetings.
