Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology or NAACLS-accredited program.
• Completion of a 4-year program including clinical rotation or certification as CLS/MLS.
• GS-07 to GS-11 educational/experience pathways as described in minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology.
• Interpret and verify results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Collect, prepare, and evaluate patient specimens with proper handling and documentation.
• Maintain quality control, proficiency testing, calibration, and regulatory compliance.
