Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa seeks a skilled laboratory professional to perform high-quality testing and procedures in a compliant, patient-centered environment. You will follow regulatory guidelines, train new staff, and help maintain accurate records while supporting a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, CLIA experience, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• CLIA equivalency criteria may apply if field of study does not match.
• Clinical lab experience preferred; relevant training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Adhere to Corporate Compliance Plan and regulatory requirements.
• Direct workflow with minimal supervision and maintain records.
• Educate and train new staff in medical laboratory settings.
• Communicate effectively in English with patients and staff.
