Job summary

Guardant Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to perform high complexity laboratory testing on patient specimens, ensure quality control, and comply with regulatory requirements. The role supports LIMS reporting and works in a team with potential hybrid in-office days.

Shift: Tue-Sat, 8:30am-5pm PT, with duties across molecular biology techniques and assay validation. Applicants should have a California CLS or CGMBS license or eligibility, a Bachelor's in

Qualifications

• Active, valid CLS or CGMBS license issued by California or eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Clinical Science or related field preferred
• Experience in high complexity and volume laboratory testing preferred
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity tests according to SOPs
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment
• Review and report patient results in LIMS
• Document QC procedures and corrective actions
• Assist in assay improvements and validation
• Supervise unlicensed personnel during analytical phase
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and non-lab staff
