Job summary

Guardant Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform high complexity testing on patient specimens, ensure quality control, and report results via LIMS. Qualifications

• Active CLS or CGMBS license as required by CA regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science or related field preferred.
• Guardant Health CLS experience or equivalent high-complexity lab experience preferred.
• Molecular biology techniques experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of state/federal lab regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high complexity tests on patient specimens.
• Maintain quality control procedures and QC documentation.
• Review and report results in LIMS.
• Identify and troubleshoot test performance issues.
• Provide supervision of unlicensed personnel during analytical phase.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and non-lab staff.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies.
