Guardant Health, Inc. is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a remote position supporting reporting and analysis.

The role emphasizes high complexity testing, QA/QC, and strict regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The CLS will review patient results, troubleshoot test performance issues, and document corrective actions while coordinating with the Laboratory Director and team.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active CLS or CGMBS license issued by California.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biomedical Laboratory Science or related field preferred.
• Guardant Health Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity lab experience preferred.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques preferred.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests, procedures and analyses according to SOPs.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot equipment according to SOPs.
• Review, interpret, and report patient results in LIMS.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems that affect test performance.
• Perform and document quality control procedures.
• Document corrective actions when test systems deviate from specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance and reagent qualification per protocols.
• Participate in assay improvements and validation.
• Provide supervision of unlicensed personnel during analytical phases.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and non-laboratory personnel.
