Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of internship program from an approved school of medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
• ASCP MT certification or eligible to take MT certification exam and must be certified within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids by chemical analyses.
• Analyze blood cells and prepare blood components for transfusions.
• Calibrate analyzers and maintain laboratory equipment per manufacturer instructions.
