Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. at Lankenau Medical Center in Ardmore, PA seeks a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a 40-hour evening shift (3-11:30pm). This role involves performing a variety of complex tests to support accurate diagnoses and patient care, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus eligibility.

We offer tuition reimbursement up to $6,000/year based on full/part-time status and a supportive team environment. A Bachelor’s degree and ASCP certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing to detect, diagnose, and treat disease.

Position:

Clinical Laboratory Scientist – 40 hour/week – This position does not include blood bank

Shift:

Evening- 3-11:30pm, two holidays, 1 in 4 weekends per departmental need.

Experience:

1. 1. Must have skills necessary to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results.
2. 2. Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills required.
3. 3. Previous laboratory computer system experience preferred.

Education:

1. 1. Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field
2. 2. Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Licensures/Certifications:

MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
