Job summary

Paoli Hospital, part of Main Line Health, is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist to join our cutting-edge laboratory team. You will perform complex testing to detect, diagnose, and treat disease, ensuring accurate results and supporting patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing and testing.
• Report test results accurately and timely.
• Communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team and prioritize tasks.

Position:

Day Shift- Stat Lab- 36 hours/week-

Shift:

10:30am-7pm, weekends/holidays per business need

Experience:

1. Must have skills necessary to perform procedures contained in the laboratory procedure manual, including specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results.
2. Demonstrated communication, organization, and prioritization skills required.
3. Previous laboratory computer system experience preferred.

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program or related field
2. Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Licensures/Certifications:

MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
